西南政法大学人权研究院长期从事新疆研究，集法学、人类学、社会学、政治学、新闻学等多学科研究为一体，在新疆开展了大量实证研究。我们的研究团队包含维吾尔族、达斡尔族等多民族成员，能熟练使用维吾尔语、阿拉伯语、哈萨克语开展研究。我们一般从某一个具体问题切入，展开田野调查，采用观察、问卷、访谈，当然现在还通过视频等方法，对新疆的政治、经济、社会、文化等方方面面进行立体的展现。我们走遍了新疆各州，也形成了一些调研报告。今年，我们已经与国内几所高校的研究人员达成新疆调研合作协议。就在四月，我们还与一所国外高校和三个国际非政府组织达成意向，争取在年内前往新疆开展调研。他们也急迫期望真实地获得一手调研资料。

The Human Rights Institute of Southwest University of Political Science and Law has been engaged in Xinjiang research for a long time, and has carried out a lot of empirical research in Xinjiang, integrating law, anthropology, sociology, political science, journalism and other multi-disciplinary research. Our research team includes members of multiple ethnic groups such as Uyghur and Daur, who are proficient in using Uyghur, Arabic, and Kazakh languages for research. We usually start from a specific problem, carry out field research, and use observation, questionnaires, interviews, and of course, now video and other methods to show the political, economic, social, cultural and other aspects of Xinjiang. We have traveled all over Xinjiang and have also produced some research reports. This year, we have reached research cooperation agreements with researchers from several domestic universities about Xinjiang. In April, we also reached an intention with a foreign university and three international non-governmental organizations to conduct research in Xinjiang within the year. They are also eager to obtain first-hand research data truthfully.

同时，我们也欢迎其他国家有意赴疆调研的学者与我们一起到新疆开展全方位、多角度调研，充分认识新疆、了解新疆。当然也包括莫琳·休伯尔女士。
